This technology includes monoclonal antibody was raised in mice against amino acids 703-1074 of ZFR. Antibody specificity was confirmed by immunoblotting lysates from cells depleted of ZFR using shRNAs.

Commercial Applications
Potential for use in research and clinical diagnosis and treatments.

Competitive Advantages
The monoclonal antibody generated allows more robust and specific immunoblotting than the other commercially available ZFR antibodies, and because it was raised against the C-terminus of the protein, it detects alternative ZFR isoforms found to be regulated in a cell-type specific manner.
