Connect with NIH at JLABS’ event – More than SBIR: Understanding the Many Ways to Engage with NIH

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has much more to offer potential collaborators than just small business innovation research (SBIR) grants. Attend this free event hosted by Johnson & Johnson’s JLABS to connect with technology transfer experts from the NIH and learn about the myriad of ways that the NIH can help innovators accelerate their new ideas and innovation. Additionally, speakers will discuss the ways that NIH is a competitive and attractive partner, particularly in areas such as equity investments, royalty costs, and overhead rates.

Representatives from the NIH Office of Technology Transfer (OTT), the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), and the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) will participate in the office hours, and NCI’s Michael Salgaller, head of their Technology Analysis and Marketing Unit, will provide an overview of NIH Services and Resources.

This event will take place at the JLABS office in Washington, DC on June 25, 2025 at 10am EDT.
